In order to Apply Indian Passport Online,you can follow very simple steps and get your passport in few days.

First of all visit the official website where you can apply for passport online.


Register yourself on this website After registration you will set your log in ID and password.Memorise them.


Now it is time to log in with your log-in ID and password.


After logging in on passport official website,click on the very first link naming APPLY FOR FRESH PASSPORT/RE_ISSUE OF PASSPORT.


When you link on first link,you will have two alternatives to choose from.

Alternative-1:Through this alternative you will apply online and for this you should have internet connection.

ALTERNATIVE-2Through this alternative you will have to download a soft copy of the application form,fill it and save it as xml file

And upload it later on your log in account.

The above two alternatives are almost same.Choose whichever is easier for you.


Now after filling the form carefully submit it online.After submitting it online or uploading xml file,you should take an appointment online and pay the required amount by using internet banking or credit or debit cards facility.


It is very important to note that in case you are Govt. employee you should get your NOC or Annexure-H duly signed by your DDO.If you submit these documents,you need not require Police verification.
